At-Home Testing
With at-home testing, we provide you with a portable monitoring device to wear while you sleep in the comfort of your own bed. This device, a home sleep apnea test (HST) or portable sleep monitor, is easy to use and non-invasive. It records essential data such as breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and heart rate throughout the night.
At-home testing offers convenience and flexibility, allowing you to undergo sleep testing without needing an overnight stay in a sleep lab. You can maintain your regular bedtime routine and sleep in your own environment, which may lead to more natural sleep patterns and potentially more accurate results. Additionally, at-home testing is typically more cost-effective than in-lab testing, making it accessible to more patients.

In-the-Lab Testing
In-lab testing involves spending the night at a local sleep laboratory monitoring various sleep parameters. This comprehensive assessment includes monitoring of brain activity (electroencephalography or EEG), eye movement (electrooculography or EOG), muscle activity (electromyography or EMG), heart rate (electrocardiography or ECG), and breathing patterns (nasal airflow, chest and abdominal movements).
What Happens After Testing?
Following your sleep testing, you will have an appointment to review the results with ample time for any questions you might have. We will then create a personalized care plan.
Our goal is to support you every step on your journey to better sleep and improved health.
